Bi-Weekly Build Challenge, Week 86: Mid-Century Modern HomeIf houses reflect the times they were designed, midcentury modern is the architecture of ideas, created by those who believed the forward-looking style could be a vehicle for social change to create a better society. Characterized by flat planes, large glass windows and open space, these homes (built from 1945 to the 1980s) featured simplicity and an integration with nature, encouraging residents to explore the world in new ways.
Must be residential/rental (NO apartments!), and fully functional. (TIP: Consider using cheats to unlock debug/hidden items and to place objects more freely!) It's all very well being off-grid but... Posted: 11 Jan 2020 04:50 PM PST ..we need some items that support it! Where are the solar panels? The compost toilets. The wood burners so that they can get a hot shower or bath? There needs to be an "off grid" pack or something. I still don't get why my sim can use her laptop in the middle of a park, but not in her off-grid house. Especially as her phone is holding its charge... [link] [comments] | ||
