    It would be nice if sims could open and close windows.

    Or leave doors open if they wanted, and other minor details. Maybe fidget when they're idling, check their nails, play in their hair or scratch their head, or chew gum/blow bubblebum, something generally unimportant but visually it helps brings the sim to life. I wish they had matches to light candles too.
