    I tried getting back into the sims 4 after playing ts2 for awhile but my sims take ages to do everything?

    Like my sim was taking out the trash and, on her way to the kitchen, she just stopped walking and stood there smiling for 10 seconds before continuing?

    Or when they eat, they just smile and look around the room before taking a bite. My sim even got up to pet her dog while she was supposed to be eating dinner? In ts2 I could manage big families with multiple pets and twin toddlers, but in ts4 I had to make my sim quit her job so she would have enough time in the day to take care of her garden and baby.

    By the time she wakes up, takes a bath and eats breakfast, its already 1pm lol. I have no mods or cc btw.
