    Introduction for Newcomers

Every two weeks the challenge will change, We'll design a different house or interior of a room and we might even sneak a few Create-A-Sims in to break it up a little.

Certain challenges will have a monetary limit, some will be spend as much as you like/can to impress.

We try to make it so everyone can participate in all challenges no matter which Sims game you have and which expansion/stuff packs you have.

If you would like to see some of our past challenges, please check out THIS link.

Bi-Weekly Build Challenge, Week 102: A Dream Cottage... For A Witch!!

When you think of a witch's home, what sort of images does your mind conjure? Perhaps you imagine one surrounded by gnarled & twisted trees, with a bridged entrance crossing a mystical moat! Or something outlandish and surreal, like a house made of gingerbread, or is it more like a dimly lit, stone-walled, chilly abode secluded in the countryside? Witch houses and cottages are known to be purposefully bizarre. Often we think of spooky Victorian houses, houses made of candy, and cabins on the hill as witches houses. But some witches lived in castles or even caves! This weeks challenge is to build a dream cottage, cave, or castle, designed for a witch. The furniture should be primitive, and there MUST be a working fireplace, or a stove, in EVERY room (except bathrooms or spaces too small for one) -- plus plenty of storage for potions and drying herbs straight from the garden! It is also required that your witches abode be lit only by candlelight (NO ELECTRIC LAMPS/LIGHTING FIXTURES). Now close your eyes, if you dare, and listen for the hooting of the owls in the trees and the crackle of the roaring fire.

    Key Elements:

    • Pitched/pointed roofs.

    • Walls that appear sloped or slanted (as if they could collapse at any moment).

    • Wooden shutters and/or other exterior decor, sometimes hung at odd angles.

Residential, rental, or commercial properties OK. Must be fully functional. (TIP: Consider using cheats to unlock debug/hidden items and to place objects more freely!)

NOTE: Challenges are open for TWO weeks!

Just thinking about how wild this game was. I would wager that this was by far the most "wacky" of all The Sims franchise.

What's the easiest way to barely earn a degree? [Sims 4]

    Posted: 24 Oct 2020 03:13 AM PDT

Most of my Sims are over achievers and earn that all A's degree through blood, sweat and tears (mostly mine) but I would like to send off some slackers to uni that would put in the bare minimum yet still pass. Barely.

What is a good strategy for this? I've yet to figure out what weighs most towards a good grade - homework? Going to class? Completing papers/presentations? What can you slack off on so my Sims can have a bit of social life left?

Help my Sims become the most mediocre they can be!
